What can I say? Another must-win game at Wembley? Well, this time it’s true, as Spurs’ qualification from this Champions League hangs in the balance and nothing less than a victory tonight will do.
The dominant performance over the weekend against Chelsea will put the team in a buoyant, confident mood. But of course, the team must guard against complacency and if the team is mindful of that, then I believe that Spurs will be too good for Inter and secure the essential three points.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino will have to consider the starting lineup carefully, bearing in mind the demands of the weekend and the current injury list – which still includes Kieron Trippier, Davinson Sanchez, Moussa Dembele and VIctor Wanyama – and the unavailability of Juan Foyth (left out of the Champions League squad)
The good news is that Danny Rose has returned to training and may be on the bench, even though Ben Davies has been virtually playing in every game now.
Thus, this is my prediction for starting line-up : –
Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Winks, Lamela, Dele, Moura, Kane.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
