“With 29 players in the squad it’s so important to rotate and keep them all motivated to play.”

Huh? Clearly, this is not working with Christian Eriksen!?!?!?!

Poch stubbornly insists on playing Eriksen despite the damage that is done to the team and the results reflect this. And what about the lack of game time for Lucas Moura?!?!?!?

POOR.

Poor Poch, his heart must be broken after that second half but still he tries his best to be positive. These players don’t deserve him! Support the manager!!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

Poch in a much better mood, by all accounts.

Making fun of the stupid rumours of his leaving, shutting down a journalist’s criticism of Davinson Sanchez and joking about wanting to kick Paul Merson!

He’s magic, you know!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

Honest responses from Mauricio Pochettino in the wake of the disappointing home loss to Newcastle.

Pochettino clearly unhappy with his ‘unsettled’ squad – a reference to Eriksen’s situation.

But Poch makes an excellent point about it being unfair to compared Citeh and Spurs, with the former’s financial resources. In that light, this is a massive point.

Regarding VAR, Poch has changed his position – his team has benefited in key decisions – but if the decision was against Spurs? We shall see…

Also, ridiculous for media to ask managers about what will happen in the future (regarding uncertainty in the squad). Nobody can predict the future, it’s just an opinion, which will be meaningless. But well, y’know media idiots as usual.

“I am so happy”

As always, Pochettino is very candid about his thoughts & feelings ahead of Spurs’ opening game against newly-promoted Aston Villa.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
