It has been reported that Spurs have released Fernando Llorente and Michel Vorm as their contracts have expired.
These are clear signs that manager Mauricio Pochettino is in the process of refreshing his squad ahead of the new season.
Of course, Spurs fans will always remember Llorente for his Champion League heroics – playing a critical role in helping Spurs get into its first ever Champions League final. All the best, Nando!
As for Michel Vorm, the Dutch keeper had already fallen in the pecking order to Paulo Gazzaniga and his departure was to be expected. Played 2nd fiddle to Hugo Lloris throughout and was a fairly dependable stand-in when required. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Now that two salary costs have been removed, I look forward to see who the club will be bringing in. Hopefully soon!
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
